Workshop Papercutting | 18 April 2020
Saturday 18th April 2020 15:00-18:00h
Do you know what papercutting is? It's the artistic paper cutout, you can see better on Naka Livre profile or even a simple google search! At our Papercutting workshop you will learn a little about this delicate millenary art, the basic techniques and application possibilities! We chose the theme "Freedom", for which the trainer will make available some templates for clipping, but, as the theme says, the creation is free! At the end of the activity, you will come out with a finished piece framed in papercutting to remember a wonderful afternoon!
Course aimed at initial experimentation but open to all levels of experience.
Teacher: Naka Livre https://www.instagram.com/nakalivre/
Pati Nakamura is Japanese-Brazilian and has lived in Porto for three years. Self-taught, she expresses herself by papercutting experimentally. She has exhibited at Mercado 48, Squid Ink, Cooperative Tree, Confraria Vermelha, Ponto Dois, among many others, and likes to share what she knows! Between a paper, a scalpel and more recently ceramics, it's easy for her to lose track of time. See more on her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nakalivre/
